1. Why the name USMEXFUSION?

USMEXFUSION was created in 2012 and is the result of the "FUSION" of two individuals´ aspirations (Jennifer Granger, MA(US) & Carlos Huerta, MA(MEX) - founders of USMEXFUSION) to raise awareness, among higher education institutions, about the importance of institutional comprehensive internationalization in today´s globalized and interconnected world.

2. ¿Por qué el nombre USMEXFUSION?

USMEXFUSION se crea en 2012 y es el resultado de la "FUSION" de las aspiraciones de dos individuos (Jennifer Granger, MA(US) & Carlos Huerta, MA(MEX) - fundadores de USMEXFUSION) hacia crear conciencia, entre las instituciones de educación superior, sobre la importancia de la internacionalización integral institucional en el actual mundo globalizado e interconectado.

3. Can any HEI, company, government agency or nonprofit become a member of USMEXFUSION?

Any HEI, company, government agency or nonprofit can become a member of USMEXFUSION. We welcome HEIs, companies, government agencies and nonprofits from all over the world.

4. ¿Cualquier IES, empresa, agencia gubernamental, u org. sin fines de lucro puede pertenecer a USMEXFUSION?

Cualquier IES, empresa, agencia gubernamental, u org. sin fines de lucro del mundo puede pertenecer a USMEXFUSION.

5. Does USMEXFUSION focus on any particular countries?

No, it does not. USMEXFUSION has interest in all countries. HEIs, companies, government agencies and nonprofits in Mexico and the United States of America are more visible in USMEXFUSION because the founders are citizens of these countries and they have done more work in these countries. This does not mean that USMEXFUSION only focuses on Mexico and the U.S.A.

6. ¿USMEXFUSION se enfoca en algunos países en particular?

No. USMEXFUSION tiene interés en todos los países. IES, empresas, agencias gubernamentales, u org. sin fines de lucro en México y los Estados Unidos son más visibles en USMEXFUSION ya que los fundadores son ciudadanos de estos países y han realizado más trabajo en estos países. Esto no significa que USMEXFUSION sólo se enfoca en México y en los Estados Unidos.
