Campus Internationalization is a journey, not a destination. It is a means, not an end:
"Internationalization of higher education is the intentional process of integrating an international, intercultural or global dimension into the purpose, functions and delivery of post-secondary education, in order to enhance the quality of education and research for all students and staff, and to make a meaningful contribution to society."
De Wit, H., Hunter F., Howard L., Egron-Polak E. (Eds.) (2015) “Internationalisation of Higher Education”, European Parliament, Brussels: EU. Taken fromhttp://www.europarl.europa.eu/RegData/etudes/STUD/2015/540370/IPOL_STU(2015)540370_EN.pdf on September 25, 2016.
This system offers open-access videos and materials to support the comprehensive internationalization of higher education institutions. It is open to all educational institutions.
This system is not intended to be a "one-size-fits-all" model. It is intended to be a flexible, open and adaptable model. It was created to serve as a provocative resource, a sensitizer, a reference, which educational institutions can tap into in its entirety or only utilize the parts that are needed or useful. It is intended to become a resource that initiates meaningful discussions on internationalization at the institutional level and to provide support in decision-making.
